Rivers Mist Community
Trash, recycling and heavy trash in Rivers Mist is collected by Texas Pride Disposal under contract to Fort Bend County Municipal Utility District No. 158.
Rivers Mist has a Rosenberg mailing address but is not on the City of Rosenberg's collection route — the district contracts its own provider. The association does not run the service either. Collection problems go to Texas Pride Disposal.

Tuesday and Friday
Have everything at the curb no later than 5:00 a.m. on your service day.
Texas Pride does not supply a cart here — you provide your own, or buy one from them.
Collected every Friday.
Do not bag your recyclables. Put them in the recycling container dry, clean and loose. Bagged recycling comes back out of the load.
Empty containers and get the food and liquid out first, and flatten cardboard so it does not overfill the container.
Check Texas Pride's current recycling guidance rather than guessing — one wrong item can spoil a whole load.
Two heavy items every service day — Tuesday and Friday both count.
Furniture, mattresses, appliances, water heaters, fencing, trampolines, basketball goals and carpet all qualify.
Anything large, unusual or over the limit — ring Texas Pride before you put it out, not after.
Dirt, rocks, bricks, concrete, liquid paint, fuel, oil, tires, pesticides, fertilizer, batteries, hazardous waste, and anything a contractor generated.
Never hide a liquid in a can. Paint, fuel and oil leak, stain the street and damage the truck.
None of these go in your cans or your heavy trash. They go to the Fort Bend County Recycling Center, 1200 Blume Road, Rosenberg. Check your options and confirm what they accept, any fees, proof-of-residency rules and opening hours before you drive out.
Check before a holiday week. The association's page and Texas Pride's own page do not list the same holidays, so this page will not pick one. Read Texas Pride's current holiday notice before you put anything at the curb, and do not assume a missed holiday collection gets made up.
Texas Pride Disposal handles trash, recycling, heavy trash and missed collections: 281-342-8178, service@texaspridedisposal.com, or their support page.
Water and sewer is the district, through Si Environmental, on 832-490-1600. That line is not for collection complaints.
The association handles deed restrictions and community matters — not the bins.
When you report a missed collection, have your address, which service was missed, the date it was due, what happened, and a photograph if there is one to take.
For missed pickups, broken carts, or other collection problems, contact Texas Pride Disposal directly.
